We are a fast-growing solar energy company in Kenya, delivering innovative and reliable solar solutions to commercial, industrial, and residential clients. As we expand our footprint, we are seeking a high-performing Sales Techno-Commercial Manager to drive revenue growth and manage key accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Drive minimum monthly sales of KES 5 million through structured sales strategies and client acquisition
Identify, develop, and manage commercial and industrial solar projects
Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and project costing
Lead negotiations, close high-value contracts, and manage client relationships
Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure project feasibility and delivery
Conduct market analysis, competitor tracking, and identify new business opportunities
Manage and mentor the sales team to achieve targets
Represent the company in meetings, site visits, and industry events
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in solar, renewable energy, or technical B2B sales
Proven track record of consistently generating KES 5 million or more in monthly sales
Strong techno-commercial understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, and project economics
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently under performance-based targets
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is an added advantage)
