Ume-install submeter ya Inhemeter vizuri kabisa lakini imekataa kukubali token?

One of our trusted electricians sent me the video today. He had successfully installed several submeters at a client's site – wiring was perfect, connections were solid – but the meters wouldn't power on or register anything.

His message: "Kinyanjui, kwani nimekosea wapi?"

My reply: “Hakuna kitu umekosea boss. Kazi ilikuwa safi sana...

The issue? The meters were never activated.

Installation is not equal to Activation

At Inhemeter, our submeters come with a deactivated state by design. This prevents tampering and unauthorized use before handover.

Once installed, we simply need to remotely activate the meter – or the property owner can complete the activation process via their account.
