Hypersonics Laboratory

Hypersonics Laboratory Hypersonics research continues to grow in importance as the demand for controlled high speed flight continues in various applications.

When objects travel at hypersonic speeds through the atmosphere, real gas effects significantly alter certain flight characteristics and these effects change dynamic behaviors of the flow and heat transfer distribution around an object. Study of the thermochemical phenomena and their effects on the flow behavior is called aerothermodynamics. WE, IN THE HYPERSONICS LABORATORY AT KAIST, WANT TO GO FASTER, HIGHER, AND FURTHER. WE ARE CRAZY IN HYPERSONICS.
