Sydney Olympic Park Tennis Center (SOPTC) has been reborn by the light together with GigaTera.

The existing Metal Halide Lights has been replaced by GigaTera's very own LED solution!

This project is a premier high-security facility lighting project in which the entire interior and exterior lighting system of the newly constructed Abu Dhabi Presidential Flight Hangar, built for the private aircraft of the UAE’s head of state, was successfully implemented as a complete turn-key solution, combining GigaTera's state-of-the-art LED lighting with professional consulting.

Inside the hangar, 154 units of the 'SEGA-500W' high-bay light were installed to secure a high average illuminance of 450 lux, and provided the safest and most comfortable working environment for engineers through glare-minimizing technology.

기가테라가 UAE 아부다비의 최상위 보안 시설인 '대통령 전용기 격납고(Presidential Flight Hangar)' 프로젝트를 성공적으로 완수했습니다.

이번 프로젝트는 기가테라만의 최첨단 LED 기술과 전문 컨설팅을 결합한 완벽한 턴키(Turn-key) 솔루션으로 진행되었습니다.

특히 격납고 내부에는 고천장등 'SEGA-500W' 154대를 설치하여, 평균 450 lux의 높은 조도를 확보함과 동시에 눈부심을 최소화했습니다.

덕분에 엔지니어들은 가장 안전하고 쾌적한 환경하에서 작업을 수행할 수 있게 되었습니다.

GigaTera Recognized as Official Licensee of the FIFA Quality Programme for Floodlights.

We are proud to announce that GigaTera has officially become a licensee of the FIFA Quality Programme for Floodlights as of Dec 17, 2025. This recognition underscores GigaTera’s decade-long commitment to excellence, established by its flagship floodlight “SUFA” series since 2010. Our 3rd generation floodlight, the “SUFA-P,” is currently undergoing the final registration process for the FIFA Quality Pro Mark and will soon be featured on the official FIFA website.

GigaTera Turkiye (GTTR) branch has been actively working in the fields of sports, airport and port lighting projects since 2015. After celebrating 10 years of energy efficient illumination stories with much more to create in the coming decades, on 16th December 2025, GTTR Business Development Manager Mr. Murat Kurt has been engaged in a very successful organization to gather the Ministry of Sports engineers and managers for a meaningful seminar in Ankara regarding the future of sustainable LED lighting. Presentations were made bilingual in collaboration with the GigaTera EU office.

Our lighting workshop covered various topics not only sports lighting, but also entertainment lighting systems. Project references like Trabzonspor Stadium, Borussia-Park Stadium, and Dickies Arena received significant attentions. Ongoing FIFA related subjects were also highly interesting since the Ministry is already familiar with this certification for necessary sports equipment. GigaTera’s innovative products such as SUFA-P floodlights and grass growing lights were demonstrated as part of a sustainable sports initiative.

During the 2-hour workshop, GigaTera Turkiye Branch Office demonstrated all samples related to the Sports Facility for both indoor and outdoor use. MAHA Series Asymmetric Wide Beam and SUFA Series Symmetric Narrow Beam Flood Lights were displayed along with our unique wireless Zigbee-based management system, which has been displayed flawlessly with the IPC wall enabling effective setup for lighting control.

It was a great honor to display our wide range of products with many proven track records in Turkiye to distinguished engineers and managers in the Ministry of Sports. The Q & A session was also very rich in conversation to clarify many points related to various installation cases.

We are looking forward to engage in similar workshops to share our upcoming projects with the Ministry of Sports in Turkiye and around the world.

The GigaTera Lighting team came together last week at our North American headquarters in Texas for an end-of-year workshop to reflect, realign, and look ahead. On our last day, we gathered under GigaTera's lighting system in the iconic Dickies Arena washed in an Americana red, white, and blue. What a fitting backdrop for conversations around teamwork, growth, and the future of sports lighting!

A big thank you to Andrew Schmidt and PLANLED INC John Hwang for hosting and supporting a meaningful and energizing session. We’re grateful for partners who share our commitment to innovation and excellence.
