- Hydraulic circuits: open, closed. Understanding the complete hydraulic system, identifying all components specs and functions based on manufacturers' hydraulic drawings and documents.
- Hydraulic controls open and closed loop, Pressure compensator, load sensing, Torque limiter and PDC, NFPE, EDC, MDC, control ladder diagrams and electrical. Troubleshooting and analyzing causes of failures, finding solutions.
- Hydrostatic transmissions, steering.
- Hydraulic preventive maintenance, contamination control, filtration, oil cleanliness control, flushing systems.
- Central Lubrication greasing. Main Brands are: Bosch Rexroth, Sauer Danfoss, Cifa, Putzmeister, Parker, Caterpillar, etc.
2- Heavy Duty trucks (Mainly Mercedes Benz trucks)
Expert in:
- On Board Diagnosis OBD especially XENTRY ( Mercedes Benz software, different electronic control units ECUs diagnosis, fault finding and repair.
- Preventive maintenance based on Kilometers and hour meters. Proactive maintenance including different parts oil analysis. Contamination control and thermal imaging.
- Diesel engines: major and top overhauls, analyzing causes of failures, supervising disassembly, repair and assembly, all components specs, functions and regulations; top and major overhaul. All done according to manufacturer's recommendations
- Injection systems: In- line, VP44, UIS, UPS and common rail.
- Mobile air braking system for motor vehicles, trailers, ABS, EBS, Air suspension systems and ECAS, clutch servo, etc.
- Mercedes Benz and ZF transmissions: complete overhaul.
- Steering system.
- Electrical control and CANBUS.
3- Power Stations:
- Power saving projects (heat recovery systems mainly).
- Steam HRT Boilers installation project management.
- Project management of Diesel power stations erection and commissioning (generator sets up to 20000 KVA each) (Wartsila, MAN, CAT and MACK).
- Sizing, calculating, specifying the different equipments and miscellaneous related to power station divisions including preparation of related drawings
1. Fuel system: fuel, sludge and Diesel tanks, pumping and piping circuits, selecting fuel separators and conditioning modules.
3. Water Cooling System: piping, radiators or cooling powers, water pumps, etc.
4. Lube Oil System: Sizing lube oil tanks, pumping and piping circuit, selecting lube oil separators.
5. High pressure air system: sizing of tanks and piping, compressors, PRVS etc,
6. Heat Recovery system: steam/hot water exhaust boilers, remote radiators.
7. HV and MV transformers, circuit breakers, synchronizers and metering distribution panels, DC control, cabling etc.
- O&M of power station including:
1. Preventive and proactive maintenance of different equipments, usage of thermal imaging and oil sampling and contamination control techniques.
2. Supervision of repairs, major overhauls and top overhauls, analyzing causes of failures, supervising disassembly, and assembly, identifying components specs, functions and regulations; top and major overhaul. All done according to manufacturer's recommendations
3. Managing time tables and schedules for operators and technicians, assigning tasks, supervising the work and making necessary follow-up.
4. Applying procedures according to ISO 9001 standards.
4- Concrete Batch Plants projects: Building, Operating and maintaining.
5- Safety:
- Training and directing others on health, safety and environmental matters.
- Maintaining up-to-date systems records ensuring safety and reliability.
- Inspections of equipment and systems for defects, reporting root causes and solving problems procedures.
- Performing and recording results of safety tests on critical equipment and systems.
- Special checks/investigations of safety standards and/or systems failures.
- Testing and certifying safety of systems/ installation modifications and recommending improvements.
6- Staff Training / Development:
- Analyzing training needs: identified staff training gaps (the difference between what sub-ordinates can do and what they need to be capable of to perform their jobs successfully). Advising on methods of training, e.g. in-house courses, on-the-job instruction, coaching, external courses.
