සියවස් ගණනක සිහිනය JVP විසින් පාවා දෙනවාද?
ජනතාව බලාපොරොත්තු වූ වෙනස කියන්නේ හොඳ ජීවන තත්ත්වයක්, ශක්තිමත් ආයතන, හොඳ පාලනයක්, නීතියේ ආධිපත්යය සහ සියලු දෙනාට වැඩි අවස්ථා ඇති ශ්රී ලංකාවක්.
අපි දේශපාලනයට එන්නේත් ඒ වෙනස ඇති කරන්නයි. SJB වැනි දේශපාලන ව්යාපාර සමඟ එකතු වන්නේ ජනතාවගේ ජීවිත යහපත් කරන්නත්, ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය සහ රාජ්ය ආයතන ශක්තිමත් කරන්නත්.
නමුත් අද අපි අපෙන්ම අහන්න ඕනේ වැදගත් ප්රශ්නයක් තියෙනවා.
අපි ඉල්ලපු වෙනසද මේ ලැබෙන්නේ?
වෙනසක් කියන්නේ ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය දුර්වල කිරීමවත්, බලය එක් පක්ෂයකට එකතු කිරීමවත් නොවෙයි.
එහෙම වෙමින් තිබෙනවා නම්, අපි ඉදිරියට යනවා නොවෙයි. අපි නැවත භයානක අතීතයකට යනවා.
ආර්ථිකය ගැනත් කතා කරන්නේ දේශපාලන කතා සහ සිරස්තලවලින් පමණක් නොවෙයි.
අපි බලන්න ඕනේ සාමාන්ය මිනිසුන්ගේ ජීවිත දිහා.
👉 ජීවන වියදම අඩු වෙලාද?
👉 පවුල් ආදායම වැඩි වෙලාද?
👉 රැකියා අවස්ථා වැඩි වෙලාද?
👉 මිනිසුන්ගේ මිලදී ගැනීමේ හැකියාව වැඩි වෙලාද?
👉 ණය බර අඩු වෙලාද?
👉 ආයෝජන වැඩි වෙලාද?
👉 ඇත්තටම ජනතාවගේ ජීවිත යහපත් වෙලාද?
ශ්රී ලංකාවට අවශ්ය වෙනසක් තිබෙනවා. නමුත් ඒ වෙනස ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය ආරක්ෂා කරන, ආයතන ශක්තිමත් කරන, ආර්ථිකය වර්ධනය කරන සහ ජනතාවගේ ජීවිත යහපත් කරන වෙනසක් විය යුතුයි.
අපේ සියවස් ගණනක සිහිනය වූ නිදහස්, ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදී සහ සමෘද්ධිමත් ශ්රී ලංකාව කිසිම දේශපාලන බලවේගයකට පාවා දෙන්න ඉඩ දිය යුතු නැහැ.
වෙනස අවශ්යයි. නමුත් වෙනස යනු ප්රජාතන්ත්රවාදය නැති කිරීම නොවේ.

How සියවස් ගනණක සිහිනය betrayed by JVP ?
The change the people were promised was a better Sri Lanka a country with a better quality of life, stronger institutions, better governance, and greater opportunities for everyone.
That is why people enter politics with parties like the SJB: to improve the lives of our people and strengthen the democratic state and its institutions.
But we must ask a serious question: Is the change being delivered actually the change people asked for?
If the direction of this so-called transformation is toward destroying the hard-won democratic nation-state and concentrating power toward a one-party system, then we are not moving forward -we are moving toward a dangerous past.
And we must look beyond popular government rhetoric when assessing the economy. Political speeches and headlines are not enough. We need to examine the real economic situation: the cost of living, household incomes, employment, purchasing power, debt, investment, and whether ordinary Sri Lankans are actually experiencing an improvement in their lives.
Sri Lanka deserves change that strengthens democracy, improves institutions, grows the economy, and gives people a better quality of life not change that takes away the freedoms and democratic foundations we fought hard to protect.
