Confined space, සීමිත අවකාශයක් එහෙමත් නැත්තන් සංවෘත අවකාශයක් කියන්නේ මරණීය අනතුරු වෙන්න පුළුවන් තැනක්.
සීමිත අවකාශයක් ඇතුලට හොද වාතාශ්‍රයක් එන්නේ නෑ. බොහෝ වෙලාවට ඇතුල් වෙන්න පිටවෙන්න තියෙන්නේ සීමිත ඉඩක්.
ඒ වගේ තැනක් කියන්නේ කාටවත් සාමාන්‍ය විදිහට වැඩ කරන්න එහෙමත් නැත්තන් ගොඩක් වෙලාවක් රැදී ඉන්න පුළුවන් තැනක් නෙමෙයි. බවුසරයක තියෙන ටැංකිය හොදම උදාහරණයක්.
ආයතනයක නම් එහි තියෙන confined space සියල්ලම අනතුරුදායකයි කියලා නම් කරලා ඒවගේ දොරවල් ලොක් කරලා තියන්න ඕනේ.
ඒ වගේ එක්කට විශේෂ අවසරයක් නැතිව ඇතුල් වෙන්න බැරි විදිහේ ක්‍රමයක් තිබීමත් අනිවාර්යයි.
Confined space එක්ක වැඩක් නොකර ඉන්න එක ආරක්ශිතම දේ උනාට වැඩක් කරන්න ඕනේ උනොත් ඒ සදහා පලපුරුදු කෙනෙක්ගේ උපදෙස් ගන්න එක තමයි වඩා හොද.
Confined space එකේ අවදානම තක්සේරු කළ යුතු අතර එහි අවදානම් පාලනය කරන ක්‍රම ගැනත් සැලසුම් කළ යුතුයි.
උදාහරණයක් ලෙස, Confined space එකක හානිකර වායුවක් තියෙනවද කියන එක ඇතුල්වීමට පෙර multy gas monitor එකක් ආදාරයෙන් පරික්ෂා කලයුතුයි.
අහිතකර වායූන් තිබේනම්, ඇතුල්වීමට පෙර ඒවා ඉවත් කල යුතු අතර නැවත එම වායුන් එක්රැස් වෙනවාදැයි සොයා බැලීමත් කල යුතුයි. අවශ්‍ය ප්‍රමාණයට ඔක්සිජන් නැතිනම්, හුස්ම ගැනීමේ උපකරණ රැගෙන යාම අනිවාර්ය අවශ්‍යතාවයක්. ඔක්සිජන් මට්ටම වැඩි කිරීමට බාහිරින් පිරිසිදු වාතය ලබාදීමද සිදු කළයුතු වෙනවා. Confined space එකකට යන විට ඒ තුලට ජලය හෝ වාතය ඇතුල්වීමට ඇති valve වසා lockout දැමීමත් අනිවාර්යෙන් සිදුකළ යුතුයි.
Confined space එකක් තුල රසායනද්‍රව්‍ය භාවිතා කරනවා නම් ශ්වසන අපහසුතා වගේම ගිනිගැනීමේ අවදානමකුත් ඇතිවෙනවා. Welding හෝ විදුලිය සම්බන්ද කටයුතු කරනවා නම් ගිනිගැනීම මෙන්ම විදුලි සැර වැදීම් වගේ අනතුරු වීමටත් ඉඩ තියෙනවා.
සෑමවිටම Confined space එක තුල සිටින අය සහ එලියේ සිටින අය අතර communication පවත්වා ගැනීම වැදගත්. ඇතුලේ සිටින අයෙකුට සිදුවන අනතුරකදී ඔහු එයින් ඉවතට ගැනීමට අවශ්‍ය ක්‍රමයක් මුල සිටම ක්‍රියාත්මකව පැවතිය යුතුයි.
දැනුවත් වීමෙන් සහ නිවැරැදි ක්‍රම භාවිතයෙන් අනතුරු වගේම ජීවිත අවදානමත් අඩු කරගන්න පුලුවන්.
