Excited to share a glimpse of my latest project: building a wooden sailboat model! ⛵

Using SolidWorks, I meticulously designed this ship, and now I'm bringing it to life with the planking on bulkheads technique. Thin wooden planks are carefully attached to a series of bulkheads (frames) that outline the shape of the hull. This method, common in both model shipbuilding and full-scale wooden boat construction, ensures a strong, lightweight structure and allows for beautifully smooth, accurate hull shapes.

This project has been a rewarding journey, blending precision, craftsmanship, and a passion for nautical design. Stay tuned for more updates as the build progresses!

I've been hard at work designing a sail ship using SolidWorks software, and today I'm thrilled to share the real-life version of my creation!

Using a laser cut machine and a lot of hand-crafted talent, I turned my digital design into a stunning wooden ship. Every detail, from the hull to the sails, has been meticulously crafted.
