At **Ignite EcoGear**, we believe that climate challenges require innovative, youth-led solutions rooted in our communities. That is why we are proud that our CEO Archie Forpoh is representing **Liberia** at the **ECOWAS Youth Consultation on Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change (HMCCC)** in Accra, Ghana.

**Day 1** focused on understanding the growing connection between climate change and human mobility across West Africa. Discussions explored the drivers of climate-induced migration, ECOWAS policy frameworks, inspiring youth-led initiatives from across the region, and how green jobs can strengthen community resilience while creating sustainable livelihoods.

The consultation also provided an opportunity for young leaders to contribute recommendations on strengthening youth engagement in climate mobility policies and ensuring that young people are active partners in shaping regional solutions.

These conversations closely align with Ignite EcoGear's mission of empowering young people through climate innovation, circular economy solutions, environmental stewardship, and green entrepreneurship. As we continue transforming plastic waste into opportunities and promoting sustainable livelihoods, we remain committed to ensuring that local innovations contribute to regional and global climate action.

We look forward to bringing back new ideas, strengthening partnerships, and translating these regional discussions into meaningful action that benefits communities across Liberia.
