Spalio 15 d. Kaune vyks jubiliejinė 79-oji tarptautinė „Vibroengineering“ konferencija, skirta vienam ryškiausių Lietuvos inžinerijos mokslo atstovų, precizinės vibromechanikos ir vibrotechnikos mokslinės mokyklos kūrėjui akademikui Kazimierui Ragulskiui.

🏅 Vienu svarbiausių konferencijos akcentų taps naujos Akademiko Kazimiero Ragulskio premijos jauniesiems tyrėjams inauguracija.
Premiją steigia „Extrica“ ir Lietuvos mokslų akademija, tęsdamos K. Ragulskio puoselėtą siekį telkti mokslininkus, auginti naujas tyrėjų kartas ir plėtoti Lietuvoje pradėtus tyrimus tarptautinėje mokslo erdvėje.

Prof. Vytautas Ostasevicius is Doctor Habilitus and Director of the Institute of Mechatronics at Kaunas University of Technology, and a member of the Lithuanian and Swedish Royal Academies of Sciences. A former doctoral student of Academician Kazimieras Ragulskis, he has spent his career carrying forward and expanding his mentor's legacy in vibroengineering, with research spanning MEMS vibration sensors, energy harvesting, and mechatronic systems.

As a Chair of the Ragulskis Centenary Conference, he brings both a deeply personal connection to Prof. Ragulskis's work and decades of leadership in the field he helped shape.

We are pleased to welcome Prof. Kristina Berškienė Lietuvos sveikatos mokslų universitetas (LSMU) as the new Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Complexity in Health Sciences, ISSN 2538-7995.

Prof. Berškienė’s research focuses on human performance, rehabilitation, musculoskeletal health, and biomedical monitoring, contributing to a deeper understanding of how complex biological systems influence health outcomes.

As Editor-in-Chief, she aims to further strengthen the journal’s focus on interdisciplinary research exploring complexity in health systems, bringing together insights from medicine, physiology, physical activity, and data-driven health analysis.

Her leadership will support the journal’s mission to foster research that advances our understanding of the multidimensional nature of health and well-being.
