Some visuals assets begin as ways of behaving. Their form remains open so they can carry the visual language of the world they become part of.

The same behaviour can fill a room as atmosphere or live within a single visual canvas, keeping its character at any scale.

They unfold live and respond as they run, allowing the space to express that language in the moment.

A shot from Ondulations, a public artwork presented last year at Place de Paris in Luxembourg City.

The installation translates the movement of passers-by into fluid, generative waves of light across the glass façade. Computer vision and a real-time visual system allow the composition to evolve with the rhythm of the street.

Refractiv created the generative visual design and interactive system.

Developed for Ville de Luxembourg, in collaboration with TIJO Studio and Brain & more. AV installation by Pro Musik.

A few shots from the immersive installation we designed for Nespresso’s NYC Flatiron flagship last winter.

It combines real-time generative content with several layers of interaction. Sensors track visitor presence and movement, shaping the fluid visuals in real time.
