Star blanket and pillows are interactive products for children that comes to life and starts to shine at night with mobile app. This is an interaction between child, blanket, parents and mobile app which includes 10 messages in form of poem for 10 diff
erent constellation names (big bear, small bear, rabbit, lizard, wolf, snake, swan, big dog,lion, fox) and their graphic representations. Right before the sleeping, in mobile app child or a parent selects one of the 10 constellations and by the help of the mobile app lights the stars in blanket. Child can see a visual constellation projections in mobile app as well as in blanket. In mobile app parent can read bedtime story related to the constellation name. Blanket turns off at the same time child falls asleep by light gradually dimming within 30 minutes. Thereby it helps overcome the fear of darkness. Darkness is a background on which both children and adults project their monsters of fantasy. In STAR BLANKET is embeded 3mm LED diodes and it is connected with mobile app with the help op the "bluetooth" signal. Blanket is waterproof, therefore it is completely safe for children. This blanket is designed for emotional durability. It can become a bedcover, it can be covered on the floor or to illuminate dark corners of the room, however "STAR BLANKETS" main function is to protect little sleeper at night. Zvaigžņu sega un spilvens ir, bērniem radīti, interaktīvi un izziņu veicinoši produkti, kuri atdzīvojas un sāk spīdēt diennakts tumšajās stundās ar mobilās lietotnes starpniecību. Šī ir mijiedarbība starp bērnu, segu, vecākiem un mobilo lietotni, kurā ir ietverti 10 vēstījumi dzejoļu formā par 10 dažādiem zvaigznāju nosaukumiem (lācis, zaķis, ķirzaka u.c.) un to grafiskajiem attēlojumiem. Bērns viens pats vai kopā ar vecākiem izvēlas mobilajā lietotnē kādu zvaigznāju, iededz zvaigznes un atver tās, vienlaicīgi iegūstot zināšanas par debess telpu un raksturīgākajiem zvaigznājiem. Sega iemieg kopā ar bērnu - lēnām izdziestot 30 minūšu laikā, tādā veidā palīdzot bērnam pārvarēt bailes no tumsas. Tumsa ir fons uz kura gan mazi bērni, gan pieaugušie projicē savas fantāzijas mošķus.
Šāda sega ir piederīga emocionālās ilgtspējas dizaina (emotionally durable) virzienam. Tā var kalpot par gultas pārklāju, tā var tikt noklāta uz grīdas vai izgaismot istabas tumšāko stūri, tomēr tās galvenais uzdevums ir sargāt mazo gulētāju miegā.
