The desert oil and gas extraction areas have complex working conditions and long relocation distances. Conventional drilling rigs face issues such as complicated disassembly, time-consuming assembly, and long cross-region relocation cycles, which can easily affect the overall project schedule.
For clients in the Gulf region, KERUI has developed and manufactured 1500HP desert fast-moving drilling rig. The rig's derrick base can be transported upright as a whole, without the need for disassembly; the top section of the derrick features a foldable design, making it easier to pass under high-voltage lines; the equipment uses a fully modular wheel-towing design, reducing the relocation time of a single rig from the conventional 10 days to as short as 3 days; the top drive integrated control integrates the top drive VFD with the rig VFD, making operation more convenient.
