🚨 𝙊𝙥𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘁: 𝙈𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙜𝙣 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙧 vacancy!!

We are looking for a talented 𝗠𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿 to join our growing Design, Engineering & Technology Services department. In this role, you will work on international aquaculture and RAS projects, handling infrastructure design, P&ID development, hydraulic profiles, pump & piping sizing, Bill of Quantities, and equipment specifications.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, 4–5+ years of experience in mechanical design, piping, hydraulics, and fluid systems. Aquaculture or water treatment background is a strong plus. Preference is given to EU/EEA/UK passport holders or candidates already residing in the EU with valid permits. You should be fluent in English, self-motivated, and ready for occasional international travel.

Back to April when we were part of the brand new Aquaculture Innovation Zone at Seafood Expo Global/Seafood Processing Global 2026 in Barcelona!

Happy to highlight that AquaBioTech Group was actively participating in the pavilion. Our Business Development Director, George D. MantasMantas, was on site speaking about our comprehensive expertise; from consultancy, training, and contract research services in our state-of-the-art facilities, to the design and engineering of advanced Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS).

Huge thanks to the organisers and everyone involved in making this new zone a success. Looking forward to building on these connections and driving innovation in aquaculture next year!

👀 Last week, we hosted a group of students from 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗸𝘀𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝘁 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝗱 (Lofoten, Norway) at our research facilities in Malta.

The students dove straight into hands-on workshops covering fish health and welfare with our Aquatic Veterinary Ana Hernández Rodríguez, modern research aquaculture systems with our CRO Director Simeon Deguara, and our latest research and innovation projects with our Project Coordinator Stela Karović.
