Today, UniPod has officially commenced the AI for Everyone Workshop, and the energy in the room is nothing short of amazing and electric! ⚡

Entrepreneurs, creatives, lecturers, innovators and professionals are coming together to explore how AI can transform the way we work, create, learn and solve problems.

The METI-funded UniPods AI Programme, in partnership with METI Japan, is open to individual innovators and teams developing AI or AI-enabled solutions at the early prototype, MVP (Minimum Viable Product), or early-stage venture stage.

No pitch decks. Just real code.

The programme offers AI technical skilling, structured prototyping support and entrepreneurship training, including a 14-week Wadhwani programme covering customer discovery, business modelling, go-to-market and investment readiness.

Selected innovators will also have the opportunity to participate in an in-person bootcamp in Addis Ababa, connect with technical mentors and engage with the wider timbuktoo network.

UniPod Malawi Welcomes Delegation from Eswatini for a Two-Day Learning Visit

Today marked the beginning of a two-day visit by a high-level delegation from Eswatini to UniPod Malawi. The delegation includes the Vice Chancellor of the University of Eswatini, representatives from UNDP Eswatini, and other distinguished delegates who are visiting to learn more about UniPod's operations and innovation ecosystem.

Accompanied by the UNDP Malawi team, the delegation was welcomed by the Vice Chancellor of MUBAS and members of the University's executive management.

On the first day, the delegation toured UniPod's innovation facilities, the MUBAS Design Studio, and other key departments, engaging in discussions about innovation, entrepreneurship, partnerships, and the operational model that drives UniPod's impact.

The exchange visit continues tomorrow with more engagements aimed at strengthening regional collaboration and sharing best practices in building thriving innovation ecosystems.

We are delighted to host our colleagues from Eswatini and look forward to another productive day of learning and collaboration.
