On 19 March 2026, Ethanol Company Limited (EthCo) held a ceremonial tree planting event at Dwangwa Primary School as part of our environmental restoration efforts.

We have planted over 10,000 trees in the Dwangwa River catchment area to help restore the ecosystem and reduce the impact of recurring floods affecting the region.

This initiative was implemented in partnership with the Nkhotakota District Council and the District Forestry Office, who supported site selection, seedling sourcing, planting, and monitoring.

With an investment of MWK 20.25 million, this effort reflects our commitment to protecting the environment and supporting sustainable communities.
