She has also played a very leading role in promoting women in the mining sector through different organizations like Women in Energy and Extractive Industry in

Malawi (WEEIM), which she founded and which also advocates in helping marginalized women against Gender Based Violence (GBV) by empowering them economically. She also founded an organization called Youth in Mining which concentrates on promoting the youth in taking an active role in gemstone mining.
