As part of the IIB20 journey, IIB Kita-Kita brought together Iskandarians from across divisions in a meaningful session dedicated to strengthening connections, fostering closer collaboration, and celebrating the spirit that continues to drive IIB forward.

The staff gathering event also marked the soft launch of the newly completed IIB Event Space @ Menara IIB, a vibrant new space designed to bring people together, encourage collaboration, and support more meaningful engagements across the organisation.

As IIB celebrates 20 years of growth and milestones, the organisation remains committed to cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture among Iskandarians, one that values teamwork, mutual support, and strong relationships as the foundation for continued growth and shared success.

Iskandar Investment Berhad recently welcomed representatives from the National Tech Association of Malaysia (PIKOM) for the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards (PDEA) 2026 Johor Roadshow & Launch Session, held on 13 May 2026 at the newly completed event space at Menara IIB, reflecting the IIB’s growing role in supporting industry engagement and collaboration initiatives.

Organised following the successful launch of PDEA 2026 in Petaling Jaya on 10 April 2026, the Johor roadshow aimed to strengthen engagement within the Southern region by encouraging greater participation from industry players while showcasing excellence across Malaysia’s digital and technology ecosystem. The session successfully gathered approximately 70 participants comprising industry stakeholders, technology players, and ecosystem partners.

Held in conjunction with PIKOM’s 40th anniversary celebration, this milestone edition of PDEA continues to serve as an important platform in recognising outstanding achievements, innovation, and contributions that drive the nation’s digital economy forward. Representing PIKOM was Adj. Practice Prof. Alex Liew, Chairman of PIKOM, while IIB was represented by Krishnamoorthy Kuppusamy, Senior Vice President, Business Development & Value Creation.

As part of its continued commitment towards fostering sustainable economic growth and innovation-driven development, IIB remains supportive of initiatives that strengthen Malaysia’s digital and technology ecosystem through strategic collaboration, industry engagement, and ecosystem development within Iskandar Puteri and beyond.
