A meaningful Aidiladha is not only about sacrifice, but also about strengthening the ties that allow us to serve better together.

AFA Group was honoured to support the Program Ibadah Korban 1447H/2026M organised by the LLM Welfare, Social and Sports Body (BKSS LLM) Badan Kebajikan, Sosial dan Sukan LLM at the Lembaga Lebuhraya Malaysia (LLM) Headquarters in Kajang.

For us, this programme goes beyond a ceremonial contribution. It reflects the spirit of gratitude, compassion and togetherness, while strengthening our close working relationship with LLM as one of AFA Group’s key stakeholders in Malaysia’s highway ecosystem.

The programme saw the successful sacrifice of two cows, with the korban meat distributed to those in need, bringing the meaning of Aidiladha closer to the community.

More importantly, initiatives like this continue to build trust, teamwork and stronger institutional bonds between organisations that share the same responsibility in serving road users and the wider public.

AFA Group remains committed to supporting meaningful stakeholder and community initiatives that bring people, institutions and communities closer together.

Big things are taking shape in the Philippines.

AFA Group Chairman Tan Sri Dr. Azmil Khalid with MTD Philippines Inc, a member of AFK Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Province of Cebu for an integrated masterplan development in Naga City, Cebu.

Tan Sri Azmil said it best: this is not just about infrastructure. It is about creating real value, opening real opportunities and building something that stands the test of time for the communities it serves.

For AFA Group, this development reflects a broader regional story, one where Malaysian infrastructure experience, development capability and long-term partnership can play a meaningful role beyond our borders.

The KL-Karak Highway is more than just a road. It is one of Malaysia’s key interstate corridors, especially for those travelling between the Klang Valley & the East Coast.

AFA PRIME Berhad and AFA Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd hosted a site visit by YBhg. Datuk Muhammad Razman bin Abu Samah, Director General of UKAS, together with YBrs. Ir. Ts. Dr. Nadzrol Fadzilah binti Ahmad, Deputy Director General (Development) of LLM, to Package 2A of the KL-Karak Highway Widening Project.

The visit focused on the ongoing preliminary works, including site clearing and slope construction, as well as the proposed widening alignment involving new bridge and tunnel developments.

For road users, this project is an important step towards improving traffic dispersal, easing congestion, and enhancing travel comfort and safety along one of the country’s busiest highway routes, especially during peak travel periods and festive seasons.

The session also included a project briefing at the Genting Sempah Site Office, reaffirming the importance of close coordination between all key parties to ensure the project continues to move forward in a structured, safe, and responsible manner.
