Edgenta’s OE & HSSE team organized the ‘Perintis Walk the Talk Visit’ (Perintis WTV) for 2023, showcasing our commitment to enhancing contractor compliance with HSSE standards. During these visits, our HSSE leaders provided guidance on effectively communicating HSSE requirements and addressing frontline workers’ social welfare concerns, fostering a safe working environment. The WTVs promoted visible leadership and recognized exceptional efforts, reinforcing the importance of HSSE.

The Perintis WTVs for 2023, part of our 5-year Contractor HSSE Development Programme, have successfully taken place in different regions, involving over 180 participants. This initiative, supported by the Perintis Council, emphasizes the significance of HSSE leadership and aims to cultivate a culture of safety and compliance.

With heartfelt appreciation, we thank all participants for their unwavering commitment to HSSE. Together, we will continue striving for excellence!

Chapter 2 of the highly anticipated Cracking IoT Conference, which was held earlier today at the KL Convention Centre, exceeded all expectations and left a lasting impact on the attendees. This extraordinary event was made possible through the strategic partnership of Edgenta NXT, Disrupt-X, and TEKTELIC, bringing together global industry leaders and over 300 esteemed participants.

The event commenced with an insightful opening speech by our esteemed MD/CEO, Syahrunizam Samsudin, which set the tone for the day. Edgenta is honored to be a collaborator at the Asset and Project Management Conference (APMC 2023, 8 & 9 June), a two-day event organized by the Malaysian Public Works Department (JKR Malaysia) and the Malaysian Asset and Project Management Association (MAPMA).

APMC 2023 marks the second edition of the conference following the successful inaugural event in 2019. With the theme "Transforming Maintenance Culture for Asset Sustainability," APMC 2023 brings together Project Management and Asset Management experts from Malaysia and the region to exchange ideas, network, and engage in discussions on emerging topics of interest in these fields.

The launch event yesterday was graced by YBhg. Dato' Sri Abdul Rahman bin Haji Mohamad, Deputy Minister of Works, Malaysia, and YBhg. Dato' Seri Ir. Hj. Mohamad Zulkefly Bin Sulaiman, President of MAPMA. During the opening ceremony, they presented awards to Ir. Vekneswaran T. Arasappan, Head of Property & Facility Solutions, in recognition of Edgenta's involvement, as well as other Edgenta recipients.

Nik Marien binti Nik Ahmad Kamal, Chief Executive Officer of Edgenta NXT, moderated a panel discussion on "Digital Transformation in Asset and Project Management" with esteemed panelists Shawn Woon, Associate, Facade Engineering Leader, ARUP Malaysia, Teh Hing Wan, Network Planning Management Consultant at Opus Consultants, UEM Edgenta and Preeta Nair, Vice President, Project Management Institute, Malaysian Chapter.
