IEM Technical Visit to NUR Power Sdn Bhd, Kulim Hi-Tech Park

The Electronic Engineering Technical Division (eETD) of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) successfully organised a technical visit to NUR Power Sdn Bhd, Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, on 7 July 2026.

The visit brought together 35 engineering professionals from various industries and disciplines, providing valuable exposure to NUR Power’s generation and distribution facilities, operational practices, and engineering solutions.

The programme featured an insightful company briefing, followed by a guided tour of the generation plant and Central Control Building, enabling participants to gain first-hand understanding of power generation and distribution operations.

IEM extends its appreciation to NUR Power Sdn Bhd for the warm hospitality, knowledge sharing, and support throughout the visit. The successful engagement strengthened technical collaboration and fostered meaningful exchange within the engineering community.
