QA/QC Supervisor
Key Responsibilities :
• Supervise daily activities of QA/QC staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to company policies.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures, work instructions, and inspection protocols.
• Ensure compliance with QMS other relevant quality standards depending on industry.
• Coordinate product inspections, testing, and sampling to verify compliance with specifications.
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformities, and customer complaints.
• Maintain and analyze quality performance data; recommend and implement improvements.
• Assist in internal and external audits and ensure corrective/preventive actions are completed.
• Train and mentor team members on quality standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure quality at all stages.
• Prepare QA/QC documentation, reports, and records for management and regulatory bodies.
Qualifications:
• Diploma/Degree in any related field
• 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, HACCP)
• Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and tools such as CAPA, FMEA, and SPC.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality software tools.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications such as internal auditor for QMS, HACCP
• Experience in plastic manufacturing will be an added advantage
