Our main objective is to provide clean water for the community of 200 people. The current water source near the village is contaminated and there is not direct water supply to each household. In addition, waste disposal infrastructure will be designed and built for this remote village. Education and basic medical care will be part of this project’s deliverables. We are engineering and pharmacy stu
dents from the University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus. We are supervised by our lecturers. In addition, we are working with Engineers Without Borders, Malaysia. This project is partly funded by Cascade “Funding transformative student projects thanks to donations from alumni and friends of The University of Nottingham”.
