The Blue Heron restaurant is opening soon. Location at 740 Mountain View between RC Hardware and Safeway. In the previous Jambonz restaurant site. Hagerbuilt Construction teamed up with Vanquisher Construction to remodel the bathrooms. We welcome them to the community. We wish the best to Ben, Drew, and staff for a successful start. Updates to be announced for opening dates, details, and times.

Hager Built Construction. Bringing new life to an old deck. It was badly in need of a better support structure. The owner didn't have it in his budget to take down the old deck and rebuild it correctly. The wood was in fairly good shape still. Put in the new support system with 6x6's before taking the original 4x4 posts out. It only had three posts initially and wasn't attached correctly. Added spacers and extra support boards. When everything was in place, I removed the old posts and moved over the original beams to add extra support with the new ones. Added a new set of beams with new posts close to the house to take some of the weight and stress off of being attached to the house. The new posts have 12" concrete J anchors that extend into the concrete pillars. The concrete pillars are below the frost line. With a new support structure in place, the owner can now replace boards as needed for later.

Replaced double hung windows with Windsor vinyl casement windows. Replaced a badly damaged patio door with a french hinged Anderson patio door. Fixed some water damage to the floor and rough opening. Got the customer ready for winter.

COMING SOON! Update!!! Had some life changing events. Had to take some time off a do different things. Kinda figure out which direction we were going. So a while back I said I was done with doing the "Handyman business." I found that most of my work leaned towards the larger size. People found out what I do, my product and building knowledge, my contacts, my business and contract licenses, my background in construction sales, my experience. Long overdue for a business change. Handyman Dan will be changing to Hager Built Construction. Shifting gears. Thanks to all who have supported us over the years.

Deck and door rehab. Replaced some of the handrail. Pressure washed and sanded the front and back decks. Finished with a semi solid oil based stain from Sherwin Williams. Also used the same stains on the fiberglass entry doors.

Doing some concrete rehab on a customers house. Patched the cracks on the back patio. Used up the concrete floor cover she had from previously. Didn't have a lot left so we came up with a pattern to use it up. Came up with my own mix for a crack filler. It came out nice and smooth. Hard to scrape when it set up. I will revisit the driveway in a year to see how it held up. I've seen and used other products, I am pretty satisfied with these results.
