The 12th Mozambique Mining and Energy Conference (MMEC) 2026 will take place on 6–7 May under the theme “Mozambique: Open for Business – Unlocking Natural Resources for Industrialisation, Diversification, and Inclusive Growth.”

Our CEO, , will be attending, speaking as a panelist, and we look forward to engaging with partners, investors, and industry peers in key discussions on the future of mining and energy in Mozambique, as well as being part of this space for dialogue, collaboration, and new opportunities.

MozParks had the honour of hosting H.E. Ambassador of Switzerland to Mozambique, Mr. Nicolas Randin, at Beluluane Industrial Park, showcasing the power of industrialisation.

From manufacturing at Sunshine Nuts to digital infrastructure at Raxio, the visit highlighted the diversity of industries driving job creation, local production, and economic growth in Mozambique. We also extend our appreciation to the companies that opened their doors and made this visit possible.

Niassa is stepping into a new era of development. MozParks and the Niassa Provincial Executive Council have joined forces to launch Niassa Parks, a new industrial initiative that attracts investment, strengthens local businesses, and creates opportunities for young Mozambicans in Niassa. Through major projects and MozYouth internships, the initiative will boost skills, support suppliers, and drive sustainable economic growth in northern Mozambique.

Yesterday, the Memorandum of Understanding was signed, marking a key step in the broader Parques do Norte iniciative to unlock Niassa’s potential and turn it into real progress for communities.

We are proud to have inaugurated the One-Stop Shop (BAU) at the Beluluane Industrial Park. This milestone reflects our commitment to simplifying and centralising key administrative processes — not only for the park companies, but also for the surrounding communities who rely on accessible public services.

The inauguration was attended by government authorities, including Lázaro Bambamba, District Administrator of Boane; Danilo Bay, Director General of the BAU; business leaders; and companies operating within the park. As MozParks, we aim to continue finding practical solutions that reaffirm our commitment to the community, improve service delivery, and support sustainable industrial growth.
