*Navachab Marks Strong Debut at Official Opening of Opuwo Trade Fair*

At the official opening of the 2026 Opuwo Annual Trade Fair held on Thursday, 23 April 2026, at the Opuwo Open Market in Opuwo, the Human Resources Director at QKR Namibia Navachab Gold Mine and Patron of the event, Mr. Elias Kahuva, reaffirmed Navachab’s commitment to community development and economic growth.

In his address, Mr. Kahuva highlighted that the trade fair has grown into a vital platform for service delivery, business engagement, and opportunity creation for the people of the Kunene Region. He noted that Navachab’s participation for the first time reflects a deliberate effort to strengthen partnerships and bring opportunities closer to the community, stating that “ _this trade fair is not just an annual event, it is a development instrument.”_

He further emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in driving local development and creating sustainable opportunities for young people and communities, stating that “ _the future of Opuwo is not ahead of us,it is being built here by us, today.”_

Navachab’s participation marks an important step in strengthening engagement with communities and supporting platforms that promote economic activity, learning, and long-term development in the region.
