Retaining this title is no coincidence, it comes from hard work, resilience, discipline, teamwork, determination, and an unshakable winning spirit. Every challenge tested us, but we stood strong, dug deep, and delivered when it mattered most.

Our Tug-of-War team, 'The Bulldozers' showed exactly why they are the reigning champions of the NBC Battle of All Games!

Their first game was a walk in the park as they bulldozed past the Namibia Training Authority, with a convincing 2–0 victory!

The champs have arrived, and they mean business!

One game down. The title defence is ON!

Our volleyball team decided to give us a little heart attack first!

They battled it out against Electricity Control Board (ECB) and walked away with a 2–1 victory!

ECB brought the electricity… But our team switched on the POWER SAVING MODE and still took the win!

A great start to the group stage of the NBC Battle For All Games at Eros Primary School, but the job is NOT DONE YET!

Our soccer team is challenging the Tug-of-War team, 'The Bulldozers' ahead of the 2-day NBC Battle of All 2026, kicking off tomorrow.

Our soccer, Bulldozers and volleyball teams will all be up for the challenge.

By the way, the Bulldozers in particular will be putting their all into defending the title. 💪🏾⚽️🏆

August 26 supports NDF ahead of military exercise in Botswana

August 26 Group of Companies is proud to hand over a donation to The Ministry of Defence and Veterans Affairs (MODVA) in support of Namibian Defence Force (NDF) troops who will participate in Military Exercise Tshwaragano III, scheduled to take place in Botswana, September 2026.

The donation, valued at close to N$500,000, consists of stationery items, laptops, printers, promotional materials and branded clothing. The consignment was handed over by Fanuel Haikuti, Executive for Corporate Services at August 26 Holding Company and received by Lt Col Ndubano from Defence Logistics, who also serves as the Real Life Chief of Exercise Tshwaragano III.

This contribution forms part of the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility commitment to supporting national institutions, strengthening operational readiness and recognising the dedication of soldiers who remain central to Namibia’s national security, peace and stability.
Exercise Tshwaragano III is a bilateral training exercise between the NDF and the Botswana Defence Force - BDF- THEBE YA SECHABA. It is aimed at enhancing joint cooperation, interoperability, coordination and the exchange of best practices between the two neighbouring defence forces.

August 26 Group of Companies remains committed to supplementing the capacity and modernisation efforts of the NDF by providing goods and services that contribute to a robust, prepared and battle-ready force. The donation is expected to boost troop morale, strengthen administrative and logistical support, and contribute to the successful ex*****on of the exercise.

Through this gesture, August 26 reaffirms its support for the MODVA, the NDF and broader efforts to promote regional peace, security and cooperation.

EXPLORATION VISIT: Major General Lesiba Charles Kekana, the Officer Commanding Defence Works Formation of the SA National Defence Force today paid an familiarisation visit to August 26 Group of Companies.

The visit was prompted by the SA Defence Force's interest in gaining insight into the Group’s operations across its various subsidiaries. The General and his delegation visited Satcom Pty Ltd, Windhoeker Maschinenfabrik, August Twenty-Six Construction, and August 26 Manufacturing.

The visit also provided August 26 Group of Companies with an opportunity to market its diversified range of products and services available to both the defence and civilian sectors across the borders.

The engagement further strengthened opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and potential partnerships between the two institutions.
