Some journeys take you across oceans. Others change the direction of your life. 🇳🇦🇳🇦❄️❄️

From Namibia to the North Pole and back, two incredible journeys have come full circle. Headspring Investments was honoured to host Teaghan Beresford, the 2025 Icebreaker of Knowledge champion, and Tironenn Kadhikwa, the 2026 champion, for a luncheon celebrating their achievements, experiences and the possibilities that lie ahead.

What stood out was not only where these young minds have been, but where they are headed next, with ambitions rooted in particle physics, nuclear physics, science and discovery. The future is, quite literally, looking promising.

At Headspring Investments, we believe meaningful support goes beyond a single event. It is about showing up, building relationships and following through on the journeys of young people. Initiatives such as the Icebreaker of Knowledge provide valuable exposure to science, technology and the nuclear sector, helping young minds connect what they learn today with the opportunities of tomorrow.

We extend our appreciation to the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Namibia for their continued support, the parents of Teaghan and Tironenn for allowing the champions to explore so fearlessly and holding their hands throughout, and the invited media for assisting in amplifying these inspiring stories.

The Mining Expo 2026 once again proved to be one of Namibia's premier platforms for knowledge exchange, innovation, collaboration, and meaningful dialogue within the mining sector.

Bringing together industry leaders, government representatives, investors, suppliers, students, and members of the public, the Expo created an environment where ideas were shared, partnerships were strengthened, and the future of responsible mining took center stage.
