Headspring Investments (Pty) Ltd expresses serious concern over the systematic dissemination of false and misleading information in Namibia's public domain regarding the company's activities and its project in the Omaheke Region.

The company notes that a significant portion of the critical statements appearing in media and public discussions bears no relation to reality and is based on unsubstantiated claims, rumours, or outright distortions of facts.
Such assertions mislead the public about the true status and scale of the work being conducted.

“The Headspring Investments project is based on a strictly scientific approach and relies on advanced in situ recovery (ISR) technologies, which are used at around 60% of uranium mining worldwide. These technologies ensure the full protection of aquifers, including the Stampriet aquifer, in line with the most stringent international environmental standards.
Our goal is to implement a project that will become a benchmark for combining economic development with care for the environment and social responsibility. The project’s approach is built on scientific research, regulatory oversight and transparent engagement,” said Headspring Investments Managing Director Kirill Egorov Kirillov.

Headspring Investments emphasises that the company strictly complies with Namibian legislation, operates within the scope of issued permits, and remains under the supervision of the relevant regulatory authorities. All stages of work are carried out transparently and in accordance with established procedures.

The company considers it unacceptable to use unverified information to shape negative public opinion and create an atmosphere of distrust around a lawful investment project.

Headspring Investments calls upon all participants in the discussion - civil society organisations, the media, and political figures - to refrain from spreading unsubstantiated claims and to refer to official information provided by the company through established communication channels.

The company remains open to constructive dialogue based on facts and scientific data, and is ready to provide reliable information about its activities to all interested stakeholders.
