TRAINEE: MONITOR: QA (APS)

An excellent career opportunity exists for interested and qualified candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position at Namib Poultry Industries.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The main purpose of this position is to ensure that adequate quality control is performed in areas of accountability and advise Quality Assurance Supervisors when priority situations arise.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• To ensure that Quality Assurance checks (DGC Analysis, Defeathering and Evisceration checks, KFC monitoring, Chlorine monitoring, Temperature monitoring, Product/s specification analysis, etc.) are carried out on time at specified intervals.
• To monitor all trucks loaded: check product temperature, check condition of truck i.e., walls, doors ceiling, cleanliness, pest activity, odors, thermo unit working and settings, etc.
• To ensure daily thermometer verification against calibrated standard thermometer.
• To ensure that QA checks are done as per work aids and product specifications.
• To ensure that all required data is recorded, and remedial action/s are taken where necessary, specifically on OPS Post Requisite Programs.

SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN

An excellent career opportunity exists for interested and qualified candidates to apply for the above-mentioned position at Namib Poultry Industries.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To ensure the effective operation, maintenance, and reliability of all IT equipment, camera surveillance, monitoring, and SCADA systems, by providing technical support, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring timely resolution of system issues to support uninterrupted business operations.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and submit scheduled reports accurately and within required timeframes
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities, job cards, and system updates
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot all SCADA, camera surveillance, and IT systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and uptime
• Install, configure, and commission cameras and related IT equipment
