We launched our mining site, Tunde Ramos Coal Mines and Commissioned our Mining Equipment in Odele, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.

We are excited to have received the Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Arc Olamilekan Adegbite at the event.

The Honourable Minister reiterated what we at Mosra Enerji have been committed to over the years during the launch - the need for mining companies operating in different communities in the country to keep to the terms made in the signed Community Development Agreement (CDA).

The community leaders and indigenous people of Odele graced the event.

Our MD/CEO’s stellar remarks during the launch of our mining site and commissioning of our equipment in Odele, Ankpa Local Government Area of Kogi State.

"this is in our bid to contribute effectively to the current Nigerian Government’s ‘Coal to Power Program’ planned to generate 30 percent of the electricity needed in the country from coal and diversification of the Nigerian economy from reliance on crude oil for foreign exchange generation. We are really glad to be part of this exciting and momentous project.

We have Mining Licences covering coal (lignite and sub-bituminous) in Nigeria. We have reserves of Lignite and Sub-bituminous coal sufficient to generate power for at least 50 years, and meet local and export demands. At full operation, this coal mine would create employment for over 5000 direct employees and 20,000 indirect employees and will further ensure that we keep to our brand promise of offering nothing but the best services among our peers."
