Iseyin, Oyo State, Nigeria – January 31, 2026 – The Federal Ministry of Power has officially handed over the 6-Megawatt Ikere Gorge Hydropower Project in Oyo State to Quaint Energy Limited, signaling a new era of sustainable electricity generation and private sector-led growth in Nigeria.

The handover ceremony, held at the Ikere Gorge Dam site, was attended by the Honourable Minister of Water Resources and Sanitation, Engr.
