⚡ DC/AC Ratio in Solar: (Small number, big impact)One of the most misunderstood concepts in solar design is the DC/AC ratio.But getting this wrong can directly affect your system performance.Let's break it down simply 👇🔹 What is DC/AC ratio?It's the ratio between:👉 Total solar panel capacity (DC)👉 Inverter capacity (AC)Example:If you have 120 kW of panels with a 100 kW inverter:DC/AC ratio = 1.2🔸 Why does this matter?Because solar panels don't always operate at peak capacity.So a slightly higher DC size helps you:✔️ Maximize inverter usage✔️ Increase total energy production✔️ Improve system efficiency🔻 What happens if it's too low? (e.g. 1.0)• Inverter is underutilized• You lose potential generation🔺 What happens if it's too high?
