Did you know our planet is spinning and racing through space at incredible speeds? 🚀


- Rotation: The earth spins on its axis at about 1,670 km/h at the equator. This gives us day and night. 🌞🌙

- Revolution: At the same time, Earth orbits the Sun at about 107,000 km/h — completing one trip every year. 🌞🌀



We don’t feel this motion because it’s constant and everything around us (air, oceans, even the atmosphere) is moving with Earth.

🌕✨ Total Lunar Eclipse Alert — Tonight's “Blood Moon”!

What’s happening: The full Moon is lining up perfectly behind Earth’s shadow—causing a total lunar eclipse, often called a “Blood Moon” due to its deep red glow.

When to watch: The eclipse spans from September 7 to 8, 2025. It begins when the Moon enters Earth’s shadow, peaks around mid-eclipse, and then emerges — the total phase lasts about 82 minutes.

Where it's visible: This spectacle can be seen across Africa (including Nigeria), Asia, Europe, and Australia, provided skies are clear!

Why it looks red: As Earth’s atmosphere filters and bends sunlight, blue rays scatter away, while red/orange wavelengths reach and illuminate the Moon—giving it that beautiful coppery glow.
