In designing of structures, there are three (3) major focuses taken into considerations;
1. Design for purpose (i.e functionality design).
2. Design for stability (i.e standard satisfaction of the structural design and analysis)
3. Aesthetic design (i.e design for beauty).
Once these 3 things are satisfied to standard, the building is set for construction.
The beauty of a building is in its design and its glory or appreciation is in its construction and furnishings.
