Today, the Chairman of the Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society (NMGS), Damaturu Chapter, Mohammed Usman Dapchi , presented the Most Active Chapter Award won at the NMGS Uyo 2026 International Conference and exhibition Akwa Ibom state to the Executive Director, Administration and Finance, North East Development Commission, Garba Iliya, FNMGS, FNAH, in his Maiduguri office.
The Chairman briefed him on the conference and the chapter’s progress and future plans. Dr. Abubakar Garba Iliya commended the Chairman and members for their commitment and encouraged them to aim higher, noting that the sky is their limit.
He was accompanied by the Secretary General of the chapter, Chief Servant Sadi Abdullahi Hamza
