Case Study, or and an artifact.⚙️🫡⚙️
This Nepal survivor house deserves a special place in the history of civil engineering.
The structural analysis, design, material selection and the overall meticulous construction process.
This is exactly what every building should stand for; withstand self weight, every possible imposed loads and factor in a considerable amount of external non regular disturbances.
This is called limit state design!!!
The designer(s) and construction teams deserve accolades.
The client/family that owns it might have spent more on it, but it saved them in an actual rainy day, a day of doom.
