Africa’s future in technology cannot remain dependent solely on imported systems and foreign manufacturing. Strengthening local capacity in electronics, semiconductor technology, and advanced manufacturing is becoming increasingly critical for economic resilience, innovation, and sustainable industrial growth.

As our Managing Director, Engr. Shehu Tijani, highlighted in this op-ed, Africa possesses the talent, resources, and capability not just to consume technology, but to design, engineer, and manufacture it locally.
