Ever wondered where the sun goes in November and December? During these months, the sun shifts to the Southern Hemisphere that’s why it rises slightly southeast, sets southwest, and sits almost overhead at midday here in Nigeria.
If you’re doing solar installations, this is the perfect time to tilt your panels slightly to the south for maximum power. .if you have flooded batteries make sure you top them up with distilled water

The sweet spot for a tubular lead acid battery is around 25 °C (77 °F)

Optimal range, 20 °C – 30 °C (68 °F – 86 °F) – capacity and cycle life are highest.

Above 30 °C, capacity rises a bit, but lifespan shortens dramatically (roughly halved for every 10 °C increase).

Below 20 °C, capacity drops (about 1 % per °C) and internal resistance rises, so the battery delivers less power.

So whenever you felt the need to charge a tubular battery 12v system precisely with above 14.4v cut off/float charging voltage just know you are straining the battery and you might not get the best performance from such battery.

Keeping the battery in that 20‑30 °C window will give you the best balance of performance and longevity.
