oga wetin u work for my set?, na as i carry am come e dey. This is the question alot of customers are asking technicians on daily basis.
Some customers have this mentality that if there appliance is not fixed they are not going to pay the technician for troubleshooting, and this usually causes misunderstanding between the technician and the customer
Yes, i personally chargers my customer a 'diagnostic fee' depending on the nature of the work. And this is the reason why u should pay that technician a diagnostic fee.
You took your appliance to a technician and he went and bought fuel worth 4k , left all the works he's supposed to do , use his tools and spend almost 2 hrs depending on the nature of the work in troubleshooting your appliance.
The after that his diagnosis points screen, when he tells u the price of screen you said it's better you go and buy a new TV.And he asked u to pay him a diagnostic fee, u began to ask him wetin u do for the tv?. instead of proper dialogue, Haba na oga,
U go to hospital u pay doctors for consultation before treatment, same with lawyers and others why can't you pay that technician that spent his tools, fuel, time and energy in troubleshooting your appliance?
