SANA GROUP was proud to be part of the 2026 Quantity Surveyors Assembly & Induction Ceremony by QSRBN, which brought together over 2,000 professionals across the Quantity Surveying community, including participants from across different African countries.

It was a valuable opportunity to engage directly with QS professionals, exchange practical insights on materials, systems, and project delivery, and continue strengthening relationships across the industry.

Our team welcomed a strong flow of visitors to the stand, with meaningful discussions around steel structures, flooring systems, blocks, MEP, and turnkey construction approaches.

We were especially honored by the presentation delivered by our Chairman, Dr. Eng. Alaa Alghadban, and the recognition he received during the event.

Yesterday, SANA GROUP had the honour of hosting the leadership of The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors ( ), led by QS Dr. Aminu M Bashir, FNIQS — President of NIQS.
The of Understanding was signed together with Dr. Eng. ALAA ALGHADBAN, Chairman & Managing Director of SANA GROUP.

Not as a formality. As a shared direction.

Toward research, development, and the advancement of construction in Nigeria 🇳🇬
Toward higher standards, stronger systems, and a safer built environment.

This step carries real responsibility.

Because decisions made at this level — by institutions and by leadership — do not just shape projects. They define the direction of the industry itself. And that direction must be built on clarity, quality, and safety of life.

The visit to Sbslftz PEB Steel Factory in Lagos Free Zone, Sana Blocks Factory, and brought that commitment into reality. Conversations moved beyond concepts into how systems are produced, how quality is controlled, and how standards are delivered in practice.

Still thinking about last week.
Not just the sessions — the responsibility in that room.
🤝 FCT Chapter didn’t come as visitors.
They came as professionals who define what gets built in 🇳🇬

And that carries weight.
Because are not documents.
They shape quality.
They shape standards.
And ultimately — they shape of life.

There was a moment during the workshop
when QS Ahmed Usman Kankia, FNIQS, Chairman of NIQS FCT Chapter,
stepped onto the slab
and took control of the laser screed.
Not as a guest.
As a professional engaging with the process.

Alongside Dr. Eng. ALAA ALGHADBAN, Chairman of SANA GROUP
whose leadership continues to push for higher standards,
stronger systems, and more responsible and in Nigeria.

In that moment, the conversation moved beyond drawings and numbers —
into how things actually perform on site.

That moment said a lot.
Because when specification meets reality,
the conversation becomes different.

Some partnerships grow quietly over time — through trust, shared thinking, and a constant push to do things better. We were pleased to welcome our long-standing partners from Etex, including the leadership team of Nigerite Limited Limited ETEX Nigeria, to our Sbslftz and Sana Blocks facilities in .

Over the years, this relationship has gone far beyond supply and ex*****on. Together, we’ve explored ideas, tested systems, and developed practical innovations — including fire-resistant roofing solutions and new building concepts for modern scalable eco housing.

What we value most in working with is a shared mindset: deep respect for R&D, material science, and long-term performance. These are the conversations that lead to real progress — especially as the industry looks toward scalable, affordable, and more sustainable housing solutions.

We were especially glad to see ETEX’s Managing Director, Mr. Denis Simonin, actively engage with our engineers and contribute ideas directly to our R&D wall — a small moment that reflects the kind of partnership we believe in.

From factory visits to joint brainstorming and even tree-planting under our initiative, this visit reminded us that strong industry progress is built through collaboration, not shortcuts.

There are moments in this industry that remind us why collaboration matters — and this week was one of them 🚀

Over the past two days, the FCT Chapter of The Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors , led by its 🤝 Chairman QS Ahmed Usman Kankia, FNIQS, with executive NIQS members graciously hosted SANA GROUP in 📍 for the maiden edition of Industry Visitation 1.0, held during their 35th Anniversary celebration week 🎉 NIQS hospitality, professionalism, and openness made this engagement truly meaningful.

Our interactive session, delivered by our Chairman and MD Dr. Eng. ALAA ALGHADBAN, became far more than a presentation.
It grew into an open and engaging conversation about what strengthens Nigeria’s construction ecosystem:
➡️ clarity in systems, discipline in ex*****on, innovation in materials and technologies, and the passion of people committed to raising standards.

We shared our engineering processes, manufacturing systems, and project philosophies — while the NIQS community brought sharp insights, important questions, and deep sector understanding 🧠
