Installation of New Cylinder Sleeves to the Engine Block

The engine block was thoroughly cleaned and inspected prior to installation of the new cylinder sleeves. The cylinder bores were checked for cleanliness, damage, corrosion, and dimensional condition to ensure they were within the required specifications.

New cylinder sleeves were installed into the engine block using the recommended installation procedure and appropriate tooling. Particular attention was given to correct sleeve seating, alignment, and protrusion to ensure proper positioning within the block.

After installation, the sleeve protrusion was measured and verified against the manufacturer’s specified tolerances. The sleeves were also inspected to confirm proper seating and uniform contact with the cylinder block.

All mating surfaces were checked to ensure they were clean and free from debris before proceeding with the subsequent engine assembly. The installation was completed in accordance with the applicable manufacturer’s specifications and workshop procedures

Successfully completed the test run of the
CAT C32 engine under controlled operating conditions. The engine started and ran smoothly, with a steady and impressive sound throughout the test. No unusual noise, excessive vibration, or visible signs of abnormal operation were observed during the run. The engine responded well during operation, and its overall performance appeared stable and satisfactory.
The test was completed successfully, with the engine operating as expected based on the available observations. This job demonstrated practical experience, confidence, and competence in carrying out engine testing and assessing general engine performance.
