Beetaloo Energy Australia has signed a non-binding agreement with Halliburton to support the development of a proposed gas-to-power and data centre project in Australia's Northern Territory.
Under the agreement, Halliburton will provide technical expertise for gas resource assessment, drilling, field development, and scalable gas-fired power generation to help supply electricity for hyperscale data centres and artificial intelligence infrastructure.
The project will be centred on a 185-hectare site near Darwin and will utilize gas resources from the Beetaloo Basin. Beetaloo Energy said the initiative remains subject to feasibility studies, financing, regulatory approvals, and final partnership agreements as it continues to build a network of strategic partners for the project.
