Is this floor durable?

He asked on twitter…

The comment kept pouring in with different opinions from his friends and circle on twitter.

I read through all of it and smiled.

I smiled because they all said it's not, they said it's expensive and not easy to maintain…

and they advise him to go for interlocking paving stones.

Well what you don't know they say is bigger than you…

And also we are entitled to our own opinion.

Which brings me to my take or opinion on whether STAMP CONCRETE FLOOR IS DURABLE OR NOT

And also my opinion on why I prefer stamp concrete floor to interlocking paving stone

With stamp concrete you don't have to:

….worry about grass growing in the compound like you saw in the video attached to this post.

and not just that, when it rains water flows out completely to the nearest drainage…

unlike interlocking paving stones that after sometime… experience uneven depression and settlement that makes water get stored in certain areas in the compound.

To make matters worse, this stagnant water causes algae to grow on the interlocking paving stone and make the compound look dirty.

You see in all ramifications stamp concrete floor is the best and most durable floor type…

because after installation all you have to do is wash the floor(once in a while) with water, soap and a mild brush once it gets dirty.

That's it.

And when the Polish gets dull you re-polish it.

''Hope you now see why I am of the opinion that stamp concrete floor is durable and a better option compared to interlocking paving stone!''
