Tony Attah is one of the most respected indigenous leaders in Nigeria's oil and gas industry. A mechanical engineer by training, he has built a distinguished career spanning more than three decades, holding key leadership positions in both Shell and NLNG. His journey from technical and operational roles to leading some of Nigeria's most strategic energy organizations reflects a strong combination of expertise, vision, and leadership.

Attah gained national and international recognition during his tenure as the Managing Director and CEO of NLNG, where he played a crucial role in advancing the Train 7 Project, a major expansion that significantly increased the company's production capacity and strengthened Nigeria's position in the global liquefied natural gas market. His leadership was marked by a focus on operational excellence, local content development, and sustainable growth.

In 2024, he became the Managing Director and CEO of Renaissance Africa Energy Company, the indigenous consortium that acquired Shell's onshore assets in Nigeria. This landmark transaction represented a major shift toward greater Nigerian ownership and control of strategic energy resources. Under his leadership, Renaissance Africa Energy Company has emerged as a symbol of indigenous capability and innovation in the sector.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Tony Attah is a strong advocate for energy security, economic development, and the growth of African-owned businesses. His career serves as an inspiration to young professionals, demonstrating that technical competence, continuous learning, and effective leadership can create lasting impact in Nigeria's oil and gas industry.
