FAKE NEWS ALERT: STOP SPREADING LIES ABOUT THE SUPER EAGLES
I’ve seen several misleading reports circulating on social media, falsely claiming that the Super Eagles of Nigeria are demanding a special bonus of $30,000 per win, along with $30,000 per goal against Gabon and $50,000 per goal in the playoff final.
Let’s be clear, that’s entirely untrue. the players never made any such demand for special bonuses.
These claims are baseless and misleading, designed only to create unnecessary drama around the team.
These false stories are being sponsored and pushed by the disgraced figures currently running our sports and football federation.
They’ve gone as far as paying content creators and some journalist to spread this propaganda, trying to twist the narrative and paint the players as greedy or unpatriotic.
Let’s be clear, the players are not refusing to play because of new bonus demands.
they are simply asking the NFF to pay what they’ve been owed for years, backlog of unpaid match bonuses that the federation keeps ignoring.
Anything you see online claiming the Super Eagles are demanding “special bonuses” before playing Gabon is FAKE NEWS, deliberately planted to cover up the NFF’s incompetence and deceit.
