A lot of people sees this ADS on lithium batteries but don't really know it's function and how to use it.

So let's talk about it briefly let's use this FELICITY lithium battery for example.

The AdS switch (Address switch or DIP switch) on a Felicity lithium battery is used to set a unique identification address for each battery in a parallel connection, which enables proper communication between the multiple batteries and the inverter.

Think of the DIP (ADS) switches on a Felicity lithium battery like giving each battery its own name tag so they can talk to each other and the inverter without confusion.

When you connect batteries in parallel, each one needs a unique identity so the system knows which battery is which, how each one is performing, and how to charge or protect them properly.

One of the switches is also used to mark the last battery in the line, so the communication chain can close properly just like saying this is the final person in the queue.

When all the batteries are correctly named and the last one is properly marked, the inverter can read their combined State of Charge, health, and performance accurately, making the whole setup work smoothly and safely.

Note that in the case of a single battery put on the switch 1.

Going solar isn't as expensive as you think. There are several economical options that'll still serve you effectively.

If you don't have a bogus budget, minimize the appliances to be powered. You can choose the appliances you want to power with solar. It's not a must that all your appliances be connected to solar. That's where load separation plays a role.

Once you start including heavy appliances like ACs, the cost will definitely escalate.

Just start from somewhere. You can always upgrade as your pocket upgrades.
