As a man or a woman, understand that relationships, especially marriages, are like food. The best and most nutritious food is food that is prepared for you fresh, on the same day, and served to only you to eat.
However, while it is possible to get some nutrition from remnants that other people ate anyhow on previous days and possibly left their saliva and other body fluids in before preserving the food in a refrigerator, to be warmed and served to you the next day or another day, the amount of nutrients is significantly reduced.
And the more that food goes through that process of eating, refrigerating, and warming, the more devalued and less nutritious the meal becomes. This applies to both genders, but more so to the female gender.
Virginity is pure because it creates a bond that nothing on Earth can recreate. A virgin bride or husband is more valuable than a wife (notice I did not say bride. Only virgins can be brides Scripturally) or a husband that is not. Yes, I know this will annoy you. You probably feel like throwing something at me and have already hurled an insult in my direction. Truth often has that effect.
If you are a woman and you are not a virgin, it is wrong by Scripture and African tradition for your parents to demand a bride price from your husband. And if you are a man and you paid a bride price for a woman who turned out not to be a virgin after the wedding, you have been defrauded.
As a young person, you will probably have some peers who make fun of you for being a virgin. Do not mind them. Their laughter is a mirthless one. Inside, they wished they were you. In five minutes, you can be like them. But in five million light years, they can never be like you. My name is Reno Omokri, and I honour you as a virgin.
