Atanda wants to beg you all for something, especially two set of people
1. Those who are yet to buy a land but praying to GOD for provision
2. Those who bought land already but yet to do something on that Land.
You all need to understand something today from Atanda.
Taking possession is extremely important when it comes to Land matters.
And the first and most important step to taking possession is not building a foundation on the Land.
Am not saying it's wrong to build foundation oo
But building a fence is more important than the foundation.
80% of Land cases can be traced to trespass because the owner feels it's not important to set boundaries yet.
Building a fence, even if it's just two couch
It clearly sets the beginning and end of your land
It clearly shows the full measurements of your land, it shows the cordinates and makes it easy for the surveyor to map out and and register for you.
Your fence plus your survey plan is an evidence of where your land starts and ends
Who ever picks out of your land becomes a trespasser under the law and such person can be arr£sted and made to face the wrath of the law
You must show continous possession by doing something on it within every two months
No matter how small, even if it's one bag of cement and 30 blocks.
Continue to add on it within the space of two months to declare continous possession as almost all state is fi'ghting agai'nst buying land and not doing anything on it
They will revoke your 0wnership of the land and G0vt will take over it without any compensation
Ignorance of the law is no excuse
