A tubing spool is a component in a wellhead system located between the casing head and the production tree. It provides structural support and connection points, and allows safe pressure containment, sealing, and control over the tubing string and associated flows.

Functions and Roles:
(1) Supports and suspends the tubing hanger/tubing string.
(2) Provides sealing/pressure containment.
(3) Interfaces with surface equipment.
(4) Provides ports/interfaces for instrumentation and control lines.
(5) Supports safety and maintenance.

Design Features:
(1) Material and strength: High alloy steel compatible with the well environment (corrosion, H2S, CO2) and rated for appropriate pressure and temperature.

The CV-150 Series is a Flanged Check Valve, bolted to mating flanged in a pipeline.

Designed & Design Features;
(1) ASTM A216 WCB carbon steel.
(2) Disc (or closure element) of stainless or corrosive-resistant materials (e.g. CF8M) for durability.
(3) Elastomeric or metal/graphite packing.
(4) Bonnet, hinge, pins, bolts, gaskets: constructed with corrosion and pressure resistant materials.
(5) Hinged disc (swings open under forward flow and closes under reverse flow).

Application;
(1) Oil & gas production, flowline and wellhead system (to prevent backflow).
(2) Instrumentation and pipeline system where a check valve is needed with a robust, flanged design, often under high pressure or corrosive environments.
(3) General industrial fluid system where reverse flow must be prevented.

Advantages;

An RX-type gasket is a pressure-energized ring joint gasket specifically designed for wellhead and high-pressure oilfield equipment applications.

Description;
1. The RX-type gasket is an octagonal-shaped pressure-energized ring gasket.
2. Designed to fit standard API 6B and 6BX flanges.
3. It is interchangeable with R-type octagonal gasket (same groove dimensions) but offer better sealing performance due to activation.

Design Features;
1. Pressure-energized - Internal pressure pushes the gasket into closer contact with the groove improving sealing.
2. Self-sealing - Even if bolt preload is reduced, the gasket maintains seal under pressure.
3. Standardized dimension per API 6A and ASME B16.20.
4. Made from soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, Inconel or alloy depending on service requirements.
5. Suitable for up to 15,000psi working pressure (varies with material and size).
